Latin is fun and EASY!
Don't know Latin and not sure where to start?
Learning Latin on your own or in a classical co-op and getting lost?
Miss Lisa will help you remedy that!

Miss Lisa's Approach
Miss Lisa says, “Nothing worth doing in life will be easy”. Latin isn’t easy, despite what you just read above, but it’s also not brain surgery! It requires effort, practice, and determination. Some translations are tricky and you need to be tenacious. But you can do it. All your hard work will pay off when you see someone with Latin writing tattooed on his arm and you know what it says! So exciting!!!
Miss Lisa believes that all things are possible through daily practice and determination to understand. This seems difficult at first, but it’s really an easy thing once you’ve established a habit. If you can commit to an hour, or even 30 minutes on busy days, five days a week, you will quickly see results. Miss Lisa likes to set a daily goal, then when that goal is complete, she may indulge in a little chocolate as an incentive to finish!
Most modern first year Latin curricula are fairly easy to use in self-learning, but without a grammar guide (like Miss Lisa’s Easy Latin Grammar) the task becomes more difficult. Using Miss Lisa’s Easy Latin Grammar will help you keep going with Latin. Don’t quit! You’ll regret it, just like the millions of people who quit their piano lessons. (You know who I’m talking about.)
So grab your curriculum, Miss Lisa’s Easy Latin Grammar, a Latin dictionary, and “gird up your loins and get ‘er done”, as Miss Lisa likes to say. An improved understanding of the English language (and maybe some chocolate) awaits.
